What Are The Seven Signs of Being Stressed?
In this day and age, stress predominates our lives more than ever. Many of us have loss our jobs, lost our homes, have taken pay cuts or having to take care of our elderly parents.
With this kind of stress in our lives causes physical changes in our mind and body.
Let us look briefly at these changes:
The sensation usually begins in the back of the head coming from the head, neck and shoulder area. Usually you can lie down for 10 to 20 minutes and breathe deeply from the abdominal area. If this does not help than take an analgesic or buy a homeopathic remedy for headaches.
In the case of emergency you can always drink some coffee to relieve an immediate headache.
Excessive Sweating
Sweating occurs when under extreme emotional or physical stress. When you are under stress the brain releases a stress hormone in the body that tells it to produce sweat. The chemical released from the brain causes the body to overheat. By producing sweat it allows the body to cools itself down and to release toxins from the body..
Sometimes the bottom of the feet can produce sweat also as a way to release stressful toxins and relieve stress..
A change in eating habits.
This can happen several ways. It depends on your previous eating habits. If you normal eat very little you may begin consuming an increased amount of food. Ie.,ou may begin to crave excessive carbohydrates, sugars and starches. If you are used to eating a lot you may want to not eat anything.
These symptoms vary from individual to individual.
Low Blood sugar
You may become shaky and feel tremors in your muscles. This is usually the cause of low blood sugar. When your body is under stress it releases a chemical that tells the adrenal glands to release the “stress hormones.” The stress hormone tells the pancreas to release insulin which causes a drop in blood sugar causing the shakes and muscle tremors.
Not being able to fall asleep or having difficulty falling asleep.
With all the things that you had to do that day or did not get done you end up with thoughts going around and around in your head.
It is important to take time to unwind before you go to sleep. Take a walk, listen to calming music or read a book.
If there is an item that you did not finish write it down and pick it up the next day.
Create a picture in your mind of you favorite place. On the beach feeling the warm sunshine, hearing the waves or bein out oon your boat fishing. Make it yours. Feel yourself relax.
I often use this technique when I have difficulty falling asleep.
A change in your behavior.
You are normally a calm person but now lose your temper with your co-workers or your loved ones. Before you lose your temper with them count to 10 or take a walk outside before you say something that you cannot take back later. If you are normally outgoing and find yourself withdrawing that is another sign you are under stress.
Changes in the ability to digest your food properly or change in bowel habits.
If you normally do not have digestive problems and now finding that you are having heartburn, gassiness, or diarrhea, this is a good sign that your body is exhibiting stress.
Take time to eat your food slowly and change some food you are eating that are making you gassy. Some foods that make you gassy are, tomatoes, green peppers, cabbage or any vegetable that come from the night shade group.
Learn to take sometime to relax before eating your meals. Taking a walk before eating or 5 deep breathes would be helpful.
If you normally have 2-3 bowel movements a day you bowel movement may increase or you may even become constipated.
These are some physical and mental signs that you are stress out. This is the way I body is trying to get your attention. That you are off-course.
Pay attention to these sign so that you mind and body is able to relax and de-stress so that you can experience optimal health.

I don’t mind triceps having their own day, you could also build in some shoulder work at the same time. You need to allow more time for rest, rather than just Sunday, your muscles grow during recovery. Also, doing fewer than 8 reps with heavier weights is pretty great for mass-building.
